Getting the Facts About the New Marijuana Law & Discussing Impacts to the Town

Supervisor Chris Koetzle and the Glenville Town Board want to hear from you.  Recently, state legislation was passed that legalizes the use of cannabis in NY.  These changes will have an impact on the community and localities have to make some decisions as to if they want to allow retail dispensaries and/or on-site consumption locations. This is a community decision and the Board would like to have a community discussion about it.  Supervisor Koetzle will present the key elements of the new law and then lead the conversation during the question and answer period. The town recognizes that residents will have different view points, experiences, and thoughts about how to go forward, but it all starts with you have an opportunity to voice your opinion.  In-person attendance will be available to the first 20 residents who sign up at jdavenport@townofglenville.org.  Be a part of the conversation and help decide our community's future.  The forum will take place on Wednesday, April 28th at 7 PM.
