- Swaggertown Solar
Follow-up to August presentation. Active Solar proposes two solar farms on Swaggertown under the solar farm overlay. The East is a 15-acre project while the West side is a 9-acre project. For both projects the Glare Analysis returned a finding of green – which denotes the site is safe regarding visibility for air travelers and pilots.
- Clover Senior Housing
The applicant proposes a 119-unit senior housing facility with incidental amenities servicing the residents. Accessed on Maple Ave, the parcel is fronted by four single family homes on Maple. The rear property line abuts railroad tracks and the Cozy Dale park. Applicant submitted updated archeological assessment of the site which SHPO has accepted and determined no further investigation is required.
- Tree Inventory and Management Plan
Davey Resource Group completed the tree inventory (emailed to the board earlier as a spreadsheet). The iTree Eco report should be made available by DRG soon. After discussion with DEC’s grant administrator, we should determine which extras to purchase – wood reclamation, storm preparedness, invasive management and/or Planting Plan. She has also recommended including PRISM, SCEAC in the discussion.
