NYS DOT announces paving of Sacandaga Rd.

New York State Department of Transportation announces that, weather permitting, their contractor is scheduled to start paving work on Route 147 (Sacandaga Road), between Ridge Road and the Schenectady/Saratoga County line during the week of Monday, June 10, 2019.  Work is expected to take approximately eight (8) weeks to complete.

The work to take place will include, ditch cleaning, top paving, driveway connections, shoulder backup work, installation of centerline audible roadway delineators, and some guiderail work.

No night work is anticipated – all work will be progressed during daytime hours.  During the contractor’s work hours, traffic will be maintained with alternating one-way traffic and flagpersons.
