Traffic Safety Committee

The Traffic Safety Committee performs multiple functions: data collection, recommendations and enforcement activities. The Committee documents detailed traffic counts and crash reports; develops annual traffic data summaries; and maintains a signage inventory. The Committee uses that data to make recommendations to the Town Board for code updates, and to assist with transportation-related grant applications and studies. The Committee enforces MUTCD on site plans or in response to resident requests as part of its review duties.
