The Town of Glenville is hiring!  We are currently accepting resumes for the following positions:

  • Deputy Receiver of Taxes - Part-time position with varying schedule of 30-35 hours per week in January, June, and September; 15-20 hours per week in February, March, April, July, and October; and limited hours in May, August, November and December.  Starting pay rate of $17.00 per hour with retirement benefits. 
  • Community Development and Planning Coordinator - Full-time, 35 hours per week, starting wage of $54,712 annually, excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirement.  The Coordinator serves as the initial point of contact for the Economic Development and Planning Department and reports to the Director of Community Development.  This position promotes the town’s Community Development strategy, reviews drawings and applications for compliance with the town’s comprehensive plan, develops and supports small business retention and attraction programs, acts as a liaison to local and regional economic development organizations, researches and compiles information for grant applications, develops and helps implement strategies to market commercial properties, maintains contact with development prospects, coordinates community development activities, and coordinates implementation of the town’s land use regulatory program.

The Town of Glenville is also canvassing for the position of:

  • Town Clerk - Full-time position to be appointed by the Town Board.  This appointment is to fill a retirement by the elected Town Clerk.  Annual salary of $65,372 with excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirement.  The appointed person would have to run in an election for the office in November 2022 to complete the current term and then run again in November 2023 for a full 4-year term.
