REDI Grant Application Available!

The Town of Glenville is offering REDI grants to eligible small businesses interested in facade improvements or new signage. The grant has a 50% match requirement while offering a maximum grant of $10,000 to eligible small businesses, defined by the following:

  • Business is located within the Town of Glenville or the Village of Scotia
  • Project complies with zoning and building regulations
  • Property owner approves the work

Supervisor Chris Koetzle and the Town Board sets aside sales tax revenue to fund the grant. Currently a total of $50,000 is available for grants. REDI's acronym stands for Revitalization and Economic Development Initiative. Each year a different project beautification or advertising initiative is selected. In prior rounds REDI funds could be used for landscaping, signage, or facade improvements. REDI also funded marketing efforts during the pandemic.
