A Message From Supervisor Chris Koetzle Regarding Public Meetings

Town Functions Return to "In-Person" Attendance

A Message From Supervisor Chris Koetzle

Dear Resident,

As the executive order issued by the governor expires today, all boards, commissions, and committee meetings will return to normal with no restrictions on attendance effective today.

I have asked each chairperson to make their own determination as to how they would like to conduct their meetings in terms of any remote, hybrid, or other web-based access for the public in accordance with their comfort with the technology.  Regardless, (in accordance with the Open Meetings Law) all members of the boards, commissions and committees are now required to be present in person to participate in the meeting and cannot participate via any remote access.

I will continue to run a “hybrid” meeting for our Town Board meetings that will allow the public to choose between in-person attendance or remote attendance via our web-based software.  This will continue at least through the summer, at which time I will re-evaluate the situation.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Christopher A. Koetzle
