Welcome to the Town of Glenville - a town of good neighbors.

Incorporated in 1821, Glenville (which includes the Village of Scotia) has grown to be a town of 50 square miles and nearly 30,000 residents. We’re proud of our town’s assets -- stellar parks, a vibrant and growing business community, and wonderful neighborhoods.

Glenville Senior Center Program
Driver Safety Course

The Glenville Senior Center is hosting a Driver Safety Course on Tuesday, July 18th & Wednesday, July 19th  from 6:00-9:00 p.m.  This program may reduce your auto insurance premiums.

The cost for Senior Center members is $25.50; all others:$29.  Please make check payable to Armand Canestraro.  No phone reservations are accepted.  Please sign up in advance at the front desk of the Glenville Senior , 32 Worden Rd.

Volunteers Needed: Tour Guides for Green Corners School House

 The town is looking for volunteers who would like to be part of our history to serve as tour guides/host at the historic school house.  Volunteers would be responsible for opening and closing the building, interacting with the general public and leading tours while providing general information about the West Glenville school.  Currently the town plans to have the building open to the general public on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9 AM to 1 PM and by appointment.  Volunteers would also be needed for Monday through Friday at request to host school tours.  Interested residents can send their letter of interest with a resume to Town of Glenville, Office of the Supervisor, 18 Glenridge Rd, Glenville, NY, 12302 or email to
