Senior Center
Glenville is proud to operate one of the most active senior centers in the region. Built in 1997 through a combination of town support, local grants and fundraising, the Glenville Senior Center houses the Scotia-Glenville Senior Citizens, Inc., a non-profit organization for those who are 50 and better.
Over 1,100 members strong, this organization hosts a wide variety of programs and services for senior residents in the town of Glenville and beyond. Activities include guest speakers, sports leagues, exercise classes, card playing, social events, bus trips, a daily lunch program and more. Some programs and trips are open to the greater Glenville community.
