TOWN OF GLENVILLE
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS


        PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, November 25, 2013  at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.

        Application of John Carlson, 562 Swaggertown Road, Glenville, NY  12302 for an  Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a new 32’ x 32’( 1,024 s/f) detached garage.  Said property is located in the Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 15.3-3-33.22.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270- 9 (G)(2):  the maximum size of an accessory structure in the SR District shall be 576 s/f therefore the applicant is seeking a variance of 448 s/f.  

        
        Application of James Holbrook, 398 Lovers Lane, Amsterdam, NY  12010 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a new 24’ x 40’ (960 s/f) detached garage in the front yard.  Said property is located in the Rural Residential/Agricultural Zoning District and is identified on tax map 3.-2-48.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-9 (C):  no accessory structure shall be located in any front yard.

        Application of Mohawk Honda, 175 Freemans Bridge Road, Glenville, NY  12302 for a Conditional Use Permit that will allow for the construction of a 5,100 s/f addition to the existing automobile dealership facility.  The addition will be used for auto service, detailing and a carwash.  Said property is located in a General Business Zoning District and is identified on tax map 30.10-2-12.1.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-126:  Any expansion or alteration of a conditional use, whether it be the expansion or reconfiguration of the principal building, parking lot, driveways, accessory buildings, etc. is subject to the review procedures outlined for Conditional Use Permits.

        Application of Michael Schaeffer for a Conditional Use Permit that will allow for an existing 30’ x 40’ garage at 120 Freemans Bridge Road, Glenville, NY  12302 to be used as an auto detail facility.  Said property is located in the General Business Zoning District and is identified on tax map 30.15-1-17.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-19(D) Auto detail facilities are permitted by Conditional Use Permit.


        Application of Mark Klos, Vintage Automotive Service, for a Conditional Use Permit that will allow for the establishment of an automotive repair facility to operate from an existing building at 4 Sarnowski Drive, Glenville, NY  12302.  Said property is located in the Research Development & Technology Zoning District and is identified on tax map 30.19-1-6.11.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-20 (C) Auto repair shops are permitted by Conditional Use Permit.
