TOWN OF GLENVILLE
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS


        PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, October, 22, 2012 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.


Application of Robert & Denise Kennard, 512 Walton Place, Glenville, NY  12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a new detached 16’ x 24’ garage 6 feet from the side lot line.  Said property is located in the Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 38.11-6-24
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-9, G, 2: - accessory structures 280 s/f up to 576 s/f must be 10’ from the side and rear property lines.  Therefore, the applicants are seeking a 4’ side yard setback variance.


        Application of Guy & Michelle Guilbeau, 42 Charlton Road, Glenville, NY  12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the placement of a 10’ x 16’ storage shed which will exceed the maximum square footage permitted for accessory structures.  Said property is located in the Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map: 15.12-1-1.1
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-9, G, 4: The total square footage of all accessory structures may not exceed 75% of the footprint of the dwelling.  The applicants are seeking a variance of 480 s/f.


        Application of Shady Lane Realty, Inc., 123 Saratoga Road, Glenville, NY  12302 for a Conditional Use Permit that would allow for the establishment of a 3,600 s/f restaurant in a proposed 3-story mixed use building located on property known as 113 Saratoga Road.  Said property is located in the Community Business Zoning District and is identified on tax map: 22.18-1-5.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-18, C, 1:  Restaurants, cafes and other eating establishments, excluding fast food restaurants require Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan Review.
