ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.
Application of Garth Riccio, 89 Skyway Drive, Glenville, NY 12302 for three Area Variances that will allow for the construction of a 26’ x 36’ (936 s/f) detached garage with a mean height of 17’ 6” ±. The property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District is identified on tax map 22.18-2-29.
In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville the following variances are sought:
270-9 (D). Height – No accessory building or structure shall exceed 15 feet in height in a residential zoning district. Therefore the applicant is seeking a variance of 2’6” ±
270-9 (G)(2) - Accessory structures in the suburban residential zoning district may not exceed 576 s/f in size. Therefore, the applicant is seeking a variance of 360 s/f.
270-9 (G)(4) – The combined footprint of all accessory structures may not exceed 75% of the footprint of the dwelling. Therefore the applicant is seeking a variance of 327 s/f.
