ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.
Application of Henry Hedden, 506 Walton Place, Glenville, NY 12302 for two Area Variances that will allow for the placement of a 12' high carport 1' 6" from the dwelling and 8' from the side lot line. Said property is located in the Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 38.11-6-21.
In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-3: Accessory structures must be located a minimum of 10' from the principal dwelling. Therefore the applicant is seeking an 8'6" variance. And 270-9,G,(2): Accessory structures 280 s/f or larger must be located a minimum of 10 from any side or rear lot line. Therefore the applicant is seeking a variance of 2'.
