ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.
Application of Rocco and Jan Montesano, 17 Glen Terrace, Glenville, NY 12302 for three area variances. The first variance request is for an already established inground swimming pool and associated pool equipment to extend within the front yard of Daphine Drive. The second variance request is to allow for a proposed deck to extend 6 feet into the front yard of Daphine Drive. The third variance request is to allow for a 6' high stockade fence in the front yard of Daphine Drive, some of which already exists. The property is a corner lot and therefore has two front yards, one on Glen Terrace and the other on Daphine Drive. The property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 22.7-3-5.
In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-9 (C) - Location. No permitted accessory use or building shall be located in any front yard. And 270-52 (B) (2) - Fences on residential properties will not exceed four feet in height in the front yard, including along side lot lines to the front of the front plane of the dwelling.
