ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS


        PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.

Application of Daniel Donlon, 189 Birch Lane, Glenville, NY 12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a new 16' X 23' attached garage. The proposed garage addition will have a side yard setback of approximately 7 feet. Said property is located in the Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 16.17-1-16.1.

In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270 Attachment 1 - the minimum side yard setback in the Suburban Residential Zoning District is 15 feet.


Application of Ned Johnson, 592 Swaggertown Road, Glenville, NY 12302 for a Revision to an Area Variance granted by the ZBA on April 28, 2008. The original variance allowed for the construction of a 24' x 36' detached accessory structure in the front yard. The applicant is seeking a revision to increase the size of the structure to 24' x 40'. No other changes
to the original variances are being requested. Said property is located in the Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 15.3-3-38.1.


Application of Robert & Karen Darrow, 71 Spring Road, Glenville, NY 12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a new 28' x 26' attached garage 15 feet to the front lot line of the paper street known as Grandview Road. The existing attached garage will be demolished as part of this project. Said property is located in the Suburban Residential
Zoning District and is identified on tax map 21.-4-6.

In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270 Attachment 1 - the minimum front yard setback in the Suburban Residential Zoning District is 30 feet.
