ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, May 18, 2009 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.
Application of Jim Tallman, 165 Willow Lane, Glenville, NY 12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a 15' x 20' (300 s/f) attached garage 12 feet from the side lot line. Said property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 16.17-1-9.1.
In accordance with the Code of the Town of Glenville Chapter 270 Attachment 1 - the minimum side yard setback in the Suburban Residential Zoning District is 15 feet.
Application of Paul Squires, 47 Swaggertown Road, Glenville, NY 12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of 16' x 24' (384 s/f) detached garage 5 feet from the side lot line at its closest point. Said property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 30.9-2-18.
In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville Chapter 270-9 (G.2) - all accessory structures 280 s/f up to 576 s/f in size must be located a minimum of 10 feet from side and rear property lines.
