TOWN OF GLENVILLE
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS


        PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.

        Application of Faith A. Ackerley, 1105 Spearhead Drive, Glenville, NY  12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a 16' x 20' addition to the rear of the existing dwelling.  The addition would have a setback of 24' from the rear lot line.  The proposal calls for the removal of an existing deck and construction of the addition.  Said property is located in a Multi-Family Zoning District and is identified on tax map 30.13-4-65.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270 Attachment 1 - the minimum rear yard setback in the Multi-Family Zoning District for a home with public sewer is 35'.

        Application of Patrick Lurenz, 35 Harmon Road, Glenville, NY  12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a 24' x 27' addition a distance of 9' 4"  to the easterly side lot line.  The proposal involves the removal of the existing garage and construction of a new 2 1/2 stall garage with living space on the second floor.  Said property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 16.9-2-40.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270 Attachment 1 - the minimum side yard setback in the Suburban Residential Zoning District is 15'.

        Application of Rick Dicresce, 175 Freemans Bridge Road, Glenville, NY  12302 for a Use Variance that will allow for a used car lot at 178 Freemans Bridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302.  Said property is located in a General Business Zoning District and is identified on tax map 30.10-3-3.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-19  used car lots are not permitted.
