TOWN OF GLENVILLE
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS


        PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.

        Application of Morris Strauss, 2094 Maple Ave., Charlton, NY 12019 for a Sign Variance at the Town Center Plaza, 19 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY  12302.  The applicant currently has a sign variance allowing for up to 5 tenant names displayed on an existing ground sign.  Mr. Morris would like to increase the number of tenant names displayed.  The property is considered a Shopping Center within the Community Business and Town Center Overlay Zoning Districts.  The site is identified on tax map: 22.-1-3.11.
        In accordance with the Town of Glenville Zoning Ordinance Article 9.4.d (1) (a) - no advertising will be allowed by any occupant of the center on said sign.

        Application of Timco Transportation, Inc, 2801 Amsterdam Road, Glenville, NY  12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for a reduction in the required amount of green space from 35% to 18.5% in conjunction with a proposed office addition.  Said property is located in a Community Business Zoning District and identified on tax map: 28.8-1-5.
        In accordance with the Town of Glenville Zoning Ordinance Article 19.C.2.a – All non- residential uses will retain at least 35 percent of the property as green space.
