TOWN OF GLENVILLE
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS


        PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.

Application of Benjamin Cannavo, 30 Sandalwood Drive, Glenville, NY 12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for a 6' high fence in the front yard to remain in place.  The property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 16.9-3-31.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-52, B, 2 - Fences will not exceed 4' in height in the front yard.  Therefore the applicant is seeking a height variance of 2' for approximately 62 l/f of fence in the front yard.


        Application of Raymond Sprague, 1545 Washout Road, Glenville, NY  12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the installation and placement of a 9' high,  37' x 10' solar array system in the front yard.  The property is located in the Rural Residential/Agricultural Zoning District and is identified on tax map 13.-1-52.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-9, C - no permitted accessory structure is permitted in any front yard.  Solar array systems are considered accessory structures and therefore the applicant is seeking total relief from the ordinance.


        Application of Jason L. Ambrosino, 855 Green Corners Road, Amsterdam, NY  12010 for an Area Variance that will allow for the installation and placement of a 52' x 16' solar array system in the front yard.  The property is located in the Rural Residential/Agricultural Zoning District and is identified on tax map 3.-1-42.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-9, C - no permitted accessory structure is permitted in any front yard.  Solar array systems are considered accessory structures and therefore the applicant is seeking total relief from the ordinance.


        Appeal by Donald Zee, P.C. on behalf of Stephen Helbling, 491 Weatherwax Road, and multiple other property owners in the West Glenville area of the decision/determination made by the Town of Glenville that the application of Mr. Cellini, 2575 Johnson Road and Weatherwax Road for Mountain Ridge Adventure, an outdoor zip line adventure course, is a "recreational facility".
