2010 Bulk Item Program
Updated 4/21/10:  The Town's Bulk Item Program is for Glenville residents outside of the village. The program is funded by non-village tax funds.  For information on the Village's program, please contact Village DPW at 393-2159.  Thank you.

2010 Bulk Item Program

The Bulk Item/Spring Clean up Program will run the third week of May this year.  We asked that items not be placed out earlier than May 9th and no later than May 14th. Only one pass will me made through town.  No items should be placed in the roadway. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact my department at 382-1406.

Acceptable Items:
Furniture ~ upholstered & un-upholstered
Rugs & Carpets ~ 4' or less, rolled & tied
Wood ~ no longer than 4', no bigger than 3" dia, bundled & tied
Grills ~ Absolutely no propane tanks
Fixtures ~ sinks, toilets, tubs
Appliances ~ must be placed in separate pile from the above for pick up. Washer, dryer, hot water tank, stove, dishwasher, refrigerators. Doors must be removed.
Metal Items ~ no longer than 6ft.

Unacceptable Items:
Recyclables
Household trash, loose trash or rubbish
Tree stumps, limbs, branches, lawn clippings, leaves
Tires
Paints, stains, sealers, solvents
Chemicals; wet or dry
Aerosol cans
Propane tanks
Computers, monitors, keyboards, televisions, etc.
Motor oils or fuels
