The Glenville Local Development Corporation is seeking candidates for two open positions on the Board of Directors and several committee chairs. Board members are required to be residents of the Town of Glenville or the Village of Scotia. Committee chairs can be non-residents but local affiliations will be desirable. members will be expected to review funding applications, administer loans and conduct the general business affairs of the LDC.
Committee chairs and members will participate in: A) Governance, B) Loan Review or C) Business Development and Recruitment.
All positions are strictly voluntary and no compensation or reimbursement will be available. Interested parties may review the By-Laws and organizational documents if this would be helpful in determining their participation or type of position being considered. Contact James MacFarland, Director of Operations, at email@example.com to arrange for such.
Applications must be submitted to Mr. MacFarland no later than November 30, 2012. All submissions must be electronic and include a cover letter and a personal resume. Interviews will begin in December 2012.
