You Can Cut Your Energy Costs: National Grid Offers Energy Efficiency Incentives for Small Businesses!
We’ve recently learned about an innovative energy efficiency program through National Grid for your small business and we wanted all Glenville small-businesses to know about it. If your business has an average electric demand of 100 kW or less, you may be eligible to participate in National Grid’s Small Business Program.
The program includes a FREE energy audit and report that will show you how you can reduce your business energy costs by up to 30%. National Grid provides incentives of up to 70% of the cost of the installation of qualified energy efficient lighting and refrigeration equipment. Cost-cutting, energy efficient equipment available through this program includes: lighting upgrades, lighting occupancy sensors, and walk-in/reach-in cooler efficiency measures. The program also allows for installation at your convenience and removal and environmentally-friendly disposal of fluorescent lights and ballast at no cost to you. Another plus offered by the program is that National Grid can finance your share of the cost by placing it on your monthly electric bill with no-interest financing for up to 24 months. Or you can pay
