Glenridge Road Improvement Project

The May 6th session will be a continuation of the April 2nd meeting to inform the public about the pending Glenridge Road improvement project. Major project features include the following:
· Reconstruction of Glenridge Road from just west of Maple Avenue east to Bradt Road. Reconstruction will result in 11’ wide travel lanes and 6’ wide shoulders.
· Construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Glenridge Road and Maple Avenue.
· Replacement and widening of the single-lane railroad overpass with a two-lane underpass and elimination of the existing traffic signal.
· Replacement and widening of the railroad bridge/overpass just west of Bruce Drive.
· Addition of left turn lanes at the Bruce Drive and Bradt Road intersections.
· Modest reduction of the road grade east of Bruce Drive.
· Improvement of all drainage facilities within the project limits.
