A. Cappiello Chiropractor Office – Dr. Nancy Cappiello               Site Plan Review
562 Saratoga Road (NYS Route 50)                                            PZC Lead Agency

A 10’ x 31’ addition is proposed for the north side of the existing office building. This property is located at the corner of Saratoga Road and Kile Drive within a Professional/Residential zoning district.

B. Ralph & Jill Graziano – Use Variance                     DEIS Completeness Determination
    Riverside Place                                                        ZBA Lead Agency

The Zoning Board of Appeals, acting as Lead Agency under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), considered the Graziano Use Variance application and determined that the proposal to construct a single-family home within a Land Conservation zoning district has the potential for a significant impact upon the environment and issued a “Positive Declaration.” A scoping session was held to identify the issues to be addressed within a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). The information required for the DEIS has been assembled and is now ready for GECC’s review. If GECC determines the information submitted is complete, then the SEQRA process initiated by the ZBA can continue.

C. Town of Glenville – Fire District No. 4 Extension         SEQRA Recommendation
Scotia-Glenville Industrial Park - NYS Route 5            Town Board Lead Agency

The Town of Glenville has proposed extending Fire Protection District Number 4 to include an area with the Scotia-Glenville Industrial Park known as “no man’s land.” This extension is to provide fire protection for an area once covered under private contract between the U.S. Government and the Village of Scotia.
