ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

        PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.
        Application of Robert & Valerie Kerker, 31 Harlau, Glenville, NY  12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a new two stall 24’ x 28’ attached garage and breezeway located 10’ from the side lot line.    The existing one stall garage would be demolished as part of this project.  Said property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map number 22.14-3-15.
        In accordance with the Town of Glenville Zoning Ordinance Article 5, B (5) the minimum side yard setback is 15 feet.  Therefore the applicants are seeking a variance of 5 feet.
        Application of Sandra Lavenia, 6 Belmont Ave., Alplaus, NY  12008 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a new two stall 22’ x 22’ attached garage 8’ from the side lot line.  Said property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map number 31.5-1-45.
        In accordance with the Town of Glenville Zoning Ordinance Article 5, B (5) the minimum side yard setback is 15 feet.  Therefore the applicant is seeking a variance of 7 feet.
        Application of Keith Welsh, 16 Lorelei Ln., Glenville, NY  12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a new 12’ x 20’ carport attached to the existing attached garage 10’ from the side lot line.  Said property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map number 22.14-1-31.
        In accordance with the Town of Glenville Zoning Ordinance Article 5, B (5) the minimum side yard setback is 15 feet.  Therefore the applicant is seeking a variance of 5 feet.
        Application of Chuck and Audrey Barnes, 1006 Seminole Road, Glenville, NY 12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of an attached covered porch 11’ 4” from the side lot line.  Said property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map number 30.5-1-21.1.
        In accordance with the Town of Glenville Zoning Ordinance Article 5.B (5) the minimum side yard setback is 15 feet.  Therefore the applicant is seeking a variance of 3’ 8”.
        Application of Austars & Mary Beth Schnore, 1007 Tecumseh Way, Glenville, NY  12302 for an  Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a new 16’ x 12’ screen porch attached to the rear of the dwelling a distance of 12’ 5” from the rear property line.  Said property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map number 30.5-1-7.
        In accordance with the Town of Glenville Zoning Ordinance Article 5.B (5) the minimum rear yard setback is 35 feet.  Therefore the applicant is seeking a variance of 22’ 7”.
        Application of Shaun & Sandra Kelly, 18 Saratoga Drive, Glenville, NY 12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the addition of 6’ to the existing kitchen and the construction of an attached 20’ garage leaving a distance of 4.7’ from the side yard property line. Said property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map number 15.12-4-40.
        In accordance with the Town of Glenville Zoning Ordinance Article 5.B (5) the minimum side yard setback is 15 feet.  Therefore the applicant is seeking a variance of 10.3’.
