Zoning Board of Appeals Agenda 5/23/05

        PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302 on Monday, May 23, 2005 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.

        Application of Mark T. Leffler, 128 Maple Avenue, Glenville, New York 12302 for an Area Variance which would allow for a 6’ fence, on what is considered a front yard.
In accordance with the zoning ordinance the said property, which is located on a corner lot, would be required to adhere to the regulations governing two front yards. The property along Alplaus Avenue and Maple Avenue would both be considered front yards. Said property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 23.-2-20.
According to Article 8.I.2.b states that fences on residential properties will not exceed four feet (4’) in height in the front yard. Article 3.C.5 states that at all street intersections, no obstruction to vision exceeding three (3) feet in height above the finished grade of the street at the property line.
